IAR Embedded Workbench supports the latest Arm Cortex-M55 processor and ensures future innovation in embedded applications.

IAR Systems, a global provider of software tools and services for embedded development, announced on the 19th that it has added support for the Arm Cortex-M55 processor to the latest version of IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm.

This tool chain version 9.20 includes support for the latest microcontroller (MCU) devices from various semiconductor vendors.

Arm's Arm Cortex-M55 processor is an AI-enabled Cortex-M processor and is the first to feature M-Profile Vector Extension (MVE), an Arm Helium technology.

This provides energy-efficient digital signal processing (DSP) and machine learning (ML) capabilities to the Cortex-M family.

IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm is a tool chain of choice for many companies building applications based on Arm Cortex-M cores.

This toolchain provides powerful optimization features that help developers maximize MCU performance while maintaining maximum energy efficiency.

To ensure code quality, code analysis tools are always perfectly integrated with the IAR Embedded Workbench.
