Checkmarx, a global leader in developer-centric application security testing (AST) solutions, has appointed Song Dae-geun as its new branch manager and announced its intention to aggressively target the domestic market.Checkmax announced on the 23rd that it had recently appointed Song Dae-geun as its new CEO.
Song Dae-geun, CEO of Checkmax Korea, is a security expert who has carried out security-related projects for various corporate clients and public institutions.
He has worked in technology and sales at the security divisions of global companies such as IBM and Cisco, and is currently in charge of CheckMax's Korean business.
Song Dae-geun, CEO of Checkmarx Korea, said, “Unfortunately, in a situation where security breaches within companies have become the social norm, finding security gaps and developing solutions to close them has become essential to business success today.” He added, “Checkmarx’s solutions are globally recognized for their technology and reliability in the AST field, allowing domestic companies to build a highly secure and user-friendly environment when developing services and applications. Checkmarx will expand its partner ecosystem to help domestic companies build high security reliability and actively support companies in resolving AST issues and providing training.”
Meanwhile, Checkmarx announced that it will actively strengthen its domestic market strategy to address the growing threat of corporate application security and ensure the safe operation of domestic companies.
