The Korean winner of 'Go Green 2022', hosted by Schneider Electric (Korea Branch Representative Kim Kyung-rok), a global company leading digital innovation in energy management and automation, will receive a prize of 5 million won and the benefit of exemption from internship requirements when hiring.

Schneider Electric is accepting applications for its global competition, "Go Green 2022," until February 14, 2022.

Schneider Electric's global competition, "Go Gree," now in its 12th year, is designed to find bold ideas and innovative solutions from undergraduate and graduate students in engineering and business fields around the world.

Last year's GoGreen 2021 saw a total of 25,000 participants from over 3,000 universities in 130 countries.

This year, we are collaborating with AVEVA, an engineering and industrial software company. Participants must submit an energy management proposal or a video of less than two minutes in one of five categories: 'Access to Energy', 'Homes of the Future', 'Supply Chain of the Future', 'Grids of the Future', and 'De[coding] the Future' to build a sustainable life.

The application team must consist of 2-4 students majoring in business, engineering, marketing, or other fields, with at least two years of undergraduate study or currently enrolled or on leave from graduate school. As this is a global competition, all processes, from application to production and presentation, will be conducted in English. Furthermore, Schneider Electric encourages a diverse gender mix within each team to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

The first round of online applications will be accepted until February 14, 2022, and the first 50 applicants who complete the application will receive a Starbucks gift card worth 10,000 won.

Schneider Electric provides mentoring to help students bring their ideas to life.

The national finals will be held in March 2021, and the top-ranking students in the national finals will be given the opportunity to participate in the East Asia finals.

The East Asia regional finals will be held in March, and the global finals will be held virtually in June. Submitted works will be comprehensively evaluated by Schneider Electric and AVEVA experts based on creativity, completeness, and usability.

Schneider Electric will provide the final Korean winning team with a scholarship of 5 million won and exemption from the Schneider Electric Korea internship document screening process.

Additionally, the global winning team will receive a prize of 10,000 euros (approximately 13 million won) and a one-year subscription to Coorpacademy, a corporate digital learning platform.
