Synology has presented a comprehensive storage platform for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Synology launched FlashStation FS2500 on the 9th.

This product is a new addition to Synology's all-flash server product line, and the SAT5210, SNV3410, and SNV3510 drives have also been updated in the SSD portfolio.

The FS2500 is designed to handle business IT applications that require fast, low-latency storage such as virtual machines and post-production workflows. The compact 1U chassis accommodates 12 2.5" SATA bays, providing sufficient capacity and simple installation.

Julien Chen, Synology product manager, said "The new FS2500 addresses growing demands for distributed computing. It is a versatile solution with a small footprint that can be deployed at the edge or in mobile applications."

The device delivers 170,000/82,000 4K and above random read/write performance and is equipped with dual 10GbE ports for 10/25GbE expansion.

Supporting DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system, the FS2500 is designed for reliability and ease of maintenance. Smart storage features such as automated drive recovery, storage deduplication and snapshots, combined with remote backup functionality, ensure data and service availability.

Launched last year, Synology's SSD drive product line has proven to be a reliable solution supporting IT operations in a wide range of demanding scenarios, meeting increasingly stringent requirements in terms of reliability and sustained performance.

Chen said "As supply chains continue to face disruptions, it is hardly surprising that vendors have begun component substitution. From the end user perspective, this means missing out considerably on product specifications available to users. With Synology SSDs, this situation does not occur. Rigorous testing and validation processes are conducted in Synology's own systems to ensure optimal operation."
