Ranix takes the lead in revitalizing the senior-friendly industry.

Ranix announced on the 24th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Seongnam Senior Industry Innovation Center to promote the "elderly-friendly industry."

Through this agreement, Ranix and the Center will join forces to ensure the smooth implementation of joint research and development, surveys on the status and demand of the elderly-friendly industry, collection of opinions regarding policies for the elderly-friendly industry, and projects involving equipment utilization and joint technology development.

The center provides an environment where new age-friendly technologies and services can be developed using various demonstration environments through the demonstration of products and services developed by age-friendly companies, such as by providing information exchange meetings among partner companies.

Ranix has entered the elderly-friendly industry sector through its various sensors and wireless mobile communication technologies.

Among these, 'mPERS,' a new product developed by Ranix, is a pendant-type emergency rescue device marketed for the U.S. and Europe that allows the elderly and infirm to receive assistance in emergency situations regardless of their location. The mPERS terminal, which is the size of a car remote control, provides services such as emergency calls, location tracking, and fall detection over 4G/5G network communication.

Ranix is actively developing mPERS for the domestic market as well as for the US and Europe.
