Nordic Semiconductor (CEO: Choi Soo-chul, Korea) will be showcasing the latest smart home technologies and a range of innovative demos inspired by its Matter solutions, Thingy:53, LE Audio development kit, Thingy:91, and nRF cloud location services at CES 2022, the major consumer electronics show that is returning to offline formats.

Nordic announced on the 3rd that it will participate in CES 2022, held in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 5th to 8th.

Nordic will be showcasing a range of exciting and informative demos at the show, including Matter, which accelerates the proliferation of smart homes, LE Audio, which supports next-generation wireless audio, and location services, which are revolutionizing asset tracking.

There will also be a demo of the Nordic Thingy:53, a multi-sensor prototyping platform based on the nRF5340 SoC, operating as a temperature sensor.

Along with this, the third major technology demo combines the Nordic Thingy:91 with the nRF Cloud Location Service. Thingy:91 is based on the nRF9160 low-power SiP with integrated LTE-M/NB-IoT modem and GNSS, making it an ideal platform for developing proof-of-concept cellular IoT asset tracking solutions.

Additionally, Nordic will host live panel discussions daily during CES. On the 5th, they will present on "The Future of the Semiconductor Industry," on the 6th on "LE Audio: The New Evolution of Wireless Audio," on the 7th on "Why Matter Matters," and on the 8th on "The Latest Updates and Trends in Cellular IoT and Location Services."
