Byco Appoints Chinmay Joshi as Global Automotive Director

Expected to strengthen the core potential of the global automotive team
He will be responsible for supporting the expansion of Vicor's OEM customer base of Tier 1 suppliers and automotive system partners through high-density modular electrification solutions.
Prior to joining Baico, Chinmay served as Senior Manager, Power Electronics at Jaguar Land Rover Group.
He has over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, leading DC-DC converter design and development teams for HEV, PHEV, and BEV vehicle platforms.
“We are driving vehicle electrification through strong connections with OEMs and Tier 1s,” said Patrick Warden, Vice President of Global Automotive Business Unit. “Chinmaye’s addition to Bycor’s global automotive team at this juncture will significantly enhance its core potential.”
Chinmay holds a bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering (semiconductor physics) from the Indian Institute of Technology Pune and a master's degree in science from Cornell University.
