SK Materials (CEO Lee Yong-wook) has joined the effort to overcome the national blood shortage crisis.

SK Materials announced on the 19th that it participated in the 'Life Sharing - On-tact' blood donation campaign conducted by SK Group at the company-wide level.

SK Group's 'Life Sharing - On-tact' blood donation campaign is a large-scale initiative involving members of affiliates, partner companies, social enterprises, and the general public to help resolve the blood shortage caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, SK Group will raise a donation of 50,000 won per blood donor to cover the treatment costs of children with blood cancer from vulnerable backgrounds.

SK Materials is promoting participation in blood donation to members of all its investment companies, including SK Materials Air Plus, SK Trichem, SK Materials Renewtech, and SK Materials Performance, for this blood donation campaign.

In addition, we are encouraging participation from partner companies, social enterprises, and the general public who wish to join the campaign through separate notifications.

SK Materials, in partnership with the Yeongju Community Social Security Council, on the upcoming 19th and 20th Blood donation buses will be deployed to the Yeongju 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center and the SK Materials headquarters, respectively, to jointly promote group blood donation.

This campaign is expected to provide opportunities for participation to ordinary citizens in the Yeongju region, where blood donation facilities are lacking, and to foster a positive perception of blood donation.
