Intel Foundry Services Accelerator fosters an ecosystem of design partners to provide diverse solutions and services tailored to customer needs.

Intel Foundry Services (IFS) launched IFS Accelerator on the 7th (local time in the US), a foundry ecosystem that comprehensively supports foundry customers to smoothly manufacture semiconductors throughout all stages from planning to execution.

As system-on-chip (SoC) designs become increasingly complex, designing products with reusable, integrated IP blocks has become an important trend.

IP Partners work with IFS to provide designers with access to high-quality IP that meets their innovative design and project schedule requirements.

IFS Accelerator helps customers accelerate innovation by providing best-in-class capabilities through collaborations with industry leaders in electronic design automation (EDA), intellectual property (IP), and design services.

Last September, IFS announced the initial version of the IFS Accelerator, which provides automotive chip designers with custom and industry-standard intellectual property to help them transition to advanced process technologies.

The IFS Accelerator, which includes 17 initial founding partners, serves as a platform for electronic design automation and design services providers and provides access to a broad library of intellectual property products from a variety of partners.

EDA solutions are optimized for Intel technology and manufacturing across the entire design and high-volume silicon manufacturing process.

The partners for this solution are Ansys, Cadence, Siemens EDA, and Synopsys.

The IP portfolio is a comprehensive and proven portfolio of Intel process-specific IPs, including standard cell libraries, embedded memory, general-purpose I/O, analog IP, and interface IP.

Design Service Partners are a service that assigns product implementation tasks to designers familiar with Intel technology, allowing customers to focus on developing unique product ideas.

These three capabilities form the foundation for our interactions with our foundry manufacturing partners.

EDA vendors produce tools that support the specification, planning, design, verification, implementation, and testing of electronic systems.

By working closely with their EDA partners, customers can jointly optimize and improve tools and workflows to help chip designers achieve their performance, power, and area (PPA) goals while reducing time to market.
