Mouser to Supply Vishay EMI Filters

Mouser announced today that it is now stocking the VEMI256A-SD2 two-channel EMI filter from Vishay Intertechnology.
Designed as a dual-channel filter array, the VEMI256A-SD2 provides robust system-grade electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for interface line filtering while suppressing electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) for two protection paths.
The Vishay VEMI256A-SD2, available from Mouser Electronics, is a highly integrated two-channel filter in an ultra-small chip-level package ideal for space-constrained applications.
The device has low leakage current for ESD protection and allows designers to filter and clamp two different signal or data lines to the device's ground.
The clamping voltage of this product is rated at ±30kV and will not damage the device being protected when exposed to ESD pulses.can prevent.
The VEMI256A-SD2 is tested to the IEC 61000-4-2 standard and meets ESD immunity requirements with a ±25kV rating for both contact and air discharge.
Additionally, the standard cutoff frequency of the filter is 60MHz, the line resistance is 60Ω (typical), and it operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C.
The VEMI256A-SD2 filter, available from Mouser Electronics, is available in a 0.45 mg, CLP1007-5M package and offers optimal standoff, minimum tilt, and rotation angle for space-constrained applications. Additionally, the filter meets the UL 94 flammability rating and has a Level 1 moisture sensitivity rating per J-STD-020.
The VEMI256A-SD2 is ideally suited for a variety of mobile and wired communication devices, including smartphones, tablets, handheld devices, display interfaces, keypads, and high-speed I/O data ports.
