Metaverse Exhibition Hall: SKT 2.0 Era, Introducing a New Vision

SK Telecom (CEO Yoo Young-sang) will participate in MWC22 to expand global cooperation and publicize the future direction of ICT to the world through technological services such as the metaverse, artificial intelligence (AI), and urban air mobility (UAM).

SK Telecom will participate in MWC22, which opens in Barcelona, Spain on the 28th.

MWC is one of the world's top three ICT exhibitions, where leading ICT companies from around the world participate and engage in active exchanges and business cooperation. SKT announced that it applied the concept of 'metaverse' to this exhibition, enabling visitors to intuitively experience the fusion of reality and virtuality throughout the entire exhibition viewing process.

At the SKT exhibition hall, you can experience various technologies and services such as △ 'ifland Global and HMD version' where global customers can enjoy the metaverse service ifland △ 'Jump Studio' experience using volumetric technology △ Korea's first domestically produced AI semiconductor 'Sapion' △ 'UAM', a core future mobility that incorporates connected intelligence.

SKT CEO Yoo Young-sang visited Barcelona, Spain, where MWC22 is being held, to announce the vision for the SKT 2.0 era and announced plans to expand cooperation with global big players in various industries.

CEO Yoo said that at this year's MWC, he plans to expand global cooperation by meeting with global big players in various fields such as communications, devices, and future technologies, and expand the customer experience so that domestic customers can enjoy global top-level ICT services.
