El Corporation has become the top supplier in Asia for Formlabs, a global 3D printer specialist.

L Corporation (CEO Lim Jun-hwan), a company specializing in 3D printers, announced on the 25th that it won first place in SLA 3D printer sales, first place in best after-sales service, and second place in SLS 3D printers in the Asian region at the '2022 Formlabs Kick-Off Event' recently hosted by global 3D printer specialist Formlabs. This is the best performance among 35 reseller companies in approximately 15 countries in the Asian region.

SLA stands for 'Stereo Lithography Apparatus,' referring to photocurable resin additive manufacturing technology, while SLS stands for 'Selective Laser Sintering,' referring to selective laser sintering technology.

Analysis suggests that the secret to L Corporation's rise as the top Formlabs reseller in Asia lies in its business know-how. L Corporation has been with Formlabs since its early days (Kickstarter), and its relationship with the company deepened particularly after acquiring the exclusive rights to Formlabs in Korea starting in 2014. Based on a business relationship with Formlabs for over nine years, it ranked first not only as a reseller but also in the after-sales service sector.

In particular, it is said that El Corporation's number one sales rate was made possible by having an after-sales service team that possesses expertise and speed recognized even by Formlabs.

Based on this award, El Corporation plans to focus on selling Formlabs' diverse range of 3D printer products this year, placing particular emphasis on the industrial 3D printer business.

We plan to expand the supply of Formlabs’ products, such as Form3L, Form3BL, and Fuse1, which offer reasonable prices and high performance compared to competitors, to major domestic educational institutions and government agencies, as well as to industrial sectors including research and development (R&D), manufacturing, electronics and equipment, and automobiles.
