Mouser announced on the 3rd that it holds and supplies Molex's 5G15 series 5G mmWave RF flex-board connectors.

Designed for enhanced 5G applications requiring design flexibility, robust coupling, and minimal PCB footprint, the 5G15 series connector provides engineers with signal integrity performance up to 15 GHz while offering wide versatility and usability.

The Molex 5G15 series 5G mmWave RF flex-board connector from Mouser Electronics is available with two RF signal lines with a 1A power line, or with four unpowered RF signal lines as another option.

Both options are designed using receptacle center shielding that separates each row to provide excellent signal integrity while enabling superior isolation for EMI shielding.

In addition, the product features a wide alignment pitch of 0.35 mm for easy connection, an overmolded design to prevent pin pull-out, and reinforced split nails to protect the connector from damage during connection and allow dual use for power or ground.

The 5G15 series connector provides up to 2A of current (up to 1A per pin) and 5G It supports all high-speed applications requiring mmWave, Sub 6GHz, 4G/LTE, or digital RF connections up to 15GHz.

In addition, the connector product combines RF and other non-RF connectivity functions into a single connector to save PCB space and costs, or combines with a single board-to-board connector to eliminate the need for multiple coaxial cables.
