Universal Robots announced that it recently held an opening ceremony for its second office in Seomyeon, Busan.

The opening ceremony was held unofficially due to the COVID-19 situation.

The office aims to improve accessibility for customers outside the metropolitan area and facilitate smooth collaboration with partner companies in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions.

Universal Robots is a market leader that has supplied over 50,000 units, accounting for more than 50% of global collaborative robot shipments, since manufacturing its first collaborative robot in 2008, and established a Korean branch in 2016 to enter the domestic market.

Recently, Universal Robots has achieved a 40% market share in the domestic market by meeting the diverse needs of customers, and is showing signs of expanding its presence in the domestic market with the opening of its second office.

Universal Robots' second office is located in Seomyeon, an area densely populated with various commercial facilities, financial institutions, and medical facilities. Equipped with convenient transportation and business infrastructure, it enhances accessibility for customers in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions and enables better customer support.
