Senstone (CEO Yoo Chang-hoon), a domestic certified security company, has achieved the feat of winning six awards at international security awards ceremonies, solidifying its position as the top startup in the security field.


Sensestone's global headquarters, swIDch, announced on the 8th that it was selected as the sole Gold Globe winner at the '18th Cyber Security Global Excellence Award', which is given to the best startup in the security service field.

The Cybersecurity Global Excellence Awards, now in its 18th year, are one of the world's leading business awards, recognizing companies and individuals who demonstrate outstanding business and technology excellence across 11 fields each year.

Based on evaluations by a panel of over 55 global executives and experts representing various industries, gold, silver, and bronze awards are awarded across 11 categories.

At this year's awards ceremony, swIDch was the sole winner of the 'Startup of the Year, Security Services' award, with a total of eight companies nominated in the security services field. In particular, this year's awards ceremony featured a number of global companies and security companies with significant recognition among its honorees.

With this award, Senstone, which has won six international security awards, continues to achieve remarkable results in both domestic and overseas markets based on its original OTAC (One-Time Authentication Code) technology, which is never duplicated with other users even in non-telecommunication environments.

Senstone, which attended the Mobile World Congress 2022 (MWC22) held in Barcelona, Spain last week, received favorable reviews from global telecommunications companies and financial institutions for its business model that can upgrade existing authentication security technology more quickly and safely by applying the OTAC algorithm in the form of an applet in the chip of the SIM card inserted into the credit card, modem, and IoT devices that we commonly use in our daily lives, or provide new services based on the OTAC applet.
