The Analog Devices (ADI) ADMV4540 quadrature demodulator, available from Mouser Electronics, is a single-chip solution with a supply voltage of 3.3 V and a total power dissipation of less than 3.2 W.

The device provides an integrated synthesizer with a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), downconverter, filtering baseband amplifier, low-noise amplifier (LNA), and serial peripheral interface (SPI) control, helping designs achieve smaller overall footprints.

The device's RF front-end consists of two LNA paths capable of supporting multiple antenna polarities over an operating frequency range of 17 to 22 GHz.

Each path provides optimal stepped 5dB, dual sideband noise figure at maximum gain, where the LNA path is selectable via the device's programmable 4-wire SPI. Can be.
