Charging content zone configuration including on-site charging service vehicles

A place has been created where you can directly and indirectly experience Hyundai Motor Company's sedan and SUV electric concept cars and various charging infrastructures.

Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 17th that it will participate in 'xEV TREND KOREA 2022' and showcase advanced electrification technologies.

At this event, Hyundai Motor Company plans to plan an exhibition space themed 'IONIQ Brand Fan Park' to inform visitors of the direction of its dedicated electric vehicle brand IONIQ.

Hyundai Motor Company divided the exhibition space into an IONIQ zone and a charging content zone.

The IONIQ Zone will display the IONIQ 5 and the sedan-type electric concept car Prophecy, and you can experience the IONIQ brand vehicles through a video of the electric SUV concept car Seven.

The charging content zone displays the H-Mobile Charger, a mobile electric charging cart, the E-pit, an ultra-fast electric vehicle charging system, a mobile hydrogen fuel cell generator, and a mobile charging service vehicle, allowing visitors to directly and indirectly experience Hyundai Motor Company’s diverse charging infrastructure that has become a part of their daily lives.

In particular, Jeju region The Ioniq 5, which is currently being tested for V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle) charging technology in the on-site charging service, was exhibited, allowing users to experience a differentiated charging service. The Ioniq 5, equipped with V2V charging technology, has shortened the charging time by 3 to 6 times compared to the existing model through a 120kW rapid charging system.

A Hyundai Motor Company official said, “We are strengthening our position as a representative global eco-friendly brand, led by the dedicated electric vehicle IONIQ 5,” and added, “We hope that this exhibition will provide an opportunity to experience the direction of the IONIQ brand vehicles to be released in the future and various electric vehicle charging infrastructures.”

Meanwhile, the 5th xEV Trend Korea is the only electric vehicle expo in Seoul led by the government to expand private electric vehicle distribution and create a new electric vehicle culture. It will be held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from the 17th to the 19th.
