Moxa, a leader in industrial communications and networks with a focus on industrial network security, has unveiled next-generation industrial networking solutions for future-oriented industrial automation.

Moxa announced on the 17th that it has launched the EDS-4000/G4000 series, a next-generation industrial Ethernet switch.

The EDS-4000/G4000 series consists of 68 models to enable customers in industrial sectors such as power, transportation, marine, and factory automation to implement future-oriented industrial networks that enhance operational resilience.

It is the world's first IEC 62443-4-2 certified Ethernet switch, certified by IECEE, with built-in hardware security features developed according to the strict software development cycle specified in the standard.

It also provides a combination of multiple interfaces, including up to 14 ports and various options such as high-speed Ethernet, Gigabit, 2.5GbE uplink, SFP, and IEEE 802.3bt PoE connections.

It has obtained certifications for NEMA TS2, EN 50121-4, IEC 61850-3/IEEE 1613, DNV, ATEX Zone 2, Class I Division 2, meeting the requirements of various industrial applications.
