Samsung Electronics has implemented a large-scale project measuring 38.7m wide, 3.6m high, and covering a total area of 140㎡ in Bangkok, Thailand, and has shown off its Micro LED large-scale technology with approximately 200 million pixels.

Samsung Electronics announced on the 29th that it has installed its micro LED 'The Wall' in the promotion hall of 'The Forestias', a large-scale housing complex being developed by MQDC (Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited), Thailand's largest real estate developer.

The Forestias, located in Bangkok, Thailand, is a lifestyle smart city being developed by MQDC from 2017 to 2023. It is Thailand's largest real estate development project that will feature residential areas as well as a six-star hotel, cultural center, hospital, and corporate facilities.

The Wall, installed in The Forestias Promotion Hall, supports ultra-high definition with a resolution of 12K wide and 8K high (46,080×4,320) and approximately 200 million pixels, and is 38.7 meters wide and 3.6 meters high.It boasts an area of approximately 140 square meters.

In particular, it attracted attention by installing a 360-degree rectangular screen surrounding the entire PR center on four sides and applying a microprocessor capable of simultaneously processing the image quality of an ultra-large screen and the world's best module adjustment technology.

The Forestias Promotion Center will open on the 29th under the name of ‘Chamber of Secrets’ and will be used as a space to introduce the image of a future smart city to customers not only in Thailand but also in Southeast Asia.
