Siemens Korea donated 20 million won to the East Coast wildfire relief fund, hoping for a speedy return to normal life for the affected residents.

Siemens Korea (CEO and President Ha-joong Jeong), the Korean subsidiary of the global electrical and electronics company Siemens, announced on the 29th that it donated 20 million won in relief funds to support the recovery of areas affected by wildfires on the East Coast, including Uljin, Gyeongbuk, Samcheok, and Gangneung, Gangwon.

This relief fund, delivered to the Korean Red Cross, was prepared with the participation of two corporations: Siemens Corporation and Siemens Industry Software. The donation will be used to support livelihoods for disaster victims, operate shelters, and provide emergency relief kits.

Jeong Ha-joong, President and CEO of Siemens Korea, said, “I hope that Siemens Korea’s support will be of some help to the victims who lost their homes due to this disaster,” and added, “I hope that the residents of the affected areas will quickly return to their daily lives.”
