Inspien participated in the Spring Symposium hosted by the National Association of University IT Administrators in Jeju from the 23rd to the 25th, and presented on the topic of "Log Management in the Big Data Era," covering the unauthorized access and provision of personal information for non-business purposes, which has recently become a hot topic, as well as countermeasures against it.

In particular, regarding the integrated operational management of logs for security and business systems operated by universities, Inspien noted that some universities are still managing logs on an individual system basis or operating log management systems with outdated functions, and presented the necessity of introducing an integrated log system and next-generation log management capabilities as a solution.

Furthermore, access to personal information regarding the SAP system used as the university's academic administration systemIn the presentation on records, the scope of processing personal information access records following changes in personal information protection laws was introduced, along with implementation cases of SAP personal information access records at major universities.

In addition, Inspien cited recent consecutive cases of unauthorized access and downloading of personal information for non-business purposes, emphasizing that the government's standards for ensuring the safety of personal information have been strengthened.

In 2019, the government revised the 'Standards for Measures to Ensure the Safety of Personal Information (Notice)' to strengthen the management of access records for personal information processing systems in order to prevent misuse or leakage of personal information and to provide practical assistance in identifying the cause of accidents when they occur.
