NXP Semiconductors is expected to help developers more easily create voice-controlled products and bring them to market quickly through its voice control solutions.

NXP announced Voice Intelligent Technology (VIT), a comprehensive local voice control software package, on the 7th.

Deep learning-based VIT is an ready-to-use library that provides a far-field audio front end supporting up to three microphones, an always-on command engine, and a voice command engine.

With NXP's free online tools, you can directly define call commands and voice commands with simple text input without the need to record voice.

Implementing stable on-device voice control is very difficult because developers must not only select appropriate hardware but also navigate complex voice processing software. To this end, they must manage separate call commands, voice command engines, and audio front-end beamformers provided by separate software vendors.

VIT provides comprehensive software solutions that can be customized for specific applications. This streamlines the development process and integrates all the elements necessary to create accurate on-device voice control solutions.
