Hyundai Motor Company is introducing a subscription-based charging plan to meet the needs of electric vehicle drivers and spur the transition to electric vehicles.

Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 16th that it will launch 'Lucky Pass H', a subscription-based electric vehicle charging plan for its electric vehicle customers.

'Lucky Pass H' is a product that allows subscribers to receive discounts on charging fees within the agreed upon charging amount limit by paying a certain amount every month.

Customers can choose from two rate plans, including 'Lucky Pass H Green +' (monthly subscription fee of 30,000 won, monthly contract amount of 1,200 kWh) and 'Lucky Pass H Light +' (monthly subscription fee of 15,000 won, monthly contract amount of 400 kWh), depending on the subscription fee and contract amount.

When using 'Lucky Pass H Green +', the charging fee is discounted for annual driving distances of up to 72,000 km, and when using 'Lucky Pass H Light +', the charging fee is discounted for annual driving distances of up to 24,000 km. (Based on the Ioniq 5's average combined fuel efficiency of 5km/kWh)

Customers will receive a 50% discount on charging fees when using rapid chargers from our affiliate, Estraffic, and a 20% and 5% discount when using rapid chargers from Korea Electric Power Corporation and the Ministry of Environment, respectively.

If you use slow chargers from Estrafic and Korea Electric Power Corporation, you will receive a 10% discount on unlimited charging fees regardless of the contracted amount.

Customers who sign up for 'Lucky Pass H' can earn an additional 3% of the amount paid when recharging in addition to the discount benefit.

By using the Estraffic rapid charger with the 'Lucky Pass H Green +' plan, customers can receive a discount of up to KRW 1.86 million per year, including subscription fees, which is expected to further reduce the charging burden for electric vehicle customers with long driving distances. (Based on electricity cost of 5 km/kWh, charging cost of KRW 309.1/kWh, and annual driving distance of 72,000 km)

Any Hyundai electric vehicle customer can sign up through the myHyundai app and receive a subscription-based charging card to use after signing up.

Ioniq 5 customers can apply for a free pass (choose between Green + 10 months or Light + 20 months) when signing up for the membership program 'Ioniq The Unique'.
