Smart Tech Korea, Korea's largest business tech show held at COEX in Seoul, showcases cutting-edge technologies across various industrial sectors and creates new convergence business opportunities both domestically and internationally.

The 11th Smart Tech Korea, held under the theme of 'Connect the Future', will be held from Wednesday, June 8 to Friday, June 10 on the 3rd floor of COEX with 800 booths from 250 companies.

This event was held as a five-part exhibition with five main themes: Smart Tech Show, Artificial Intelligence & Big Data Show, Digital Distribution Fair, Metaverse Show, and Robotics Show. Visitors had the opportunity to experience various booths and learn about cutting-edge technology trends, including smart city technologies such as 5G and IoT, SW & automation solutions, metaverse, AI, and AI+data.

A three-day international conference themed "Smart Technology for Preparing for the New Normal Era" will be held, allowing attendees to participate in each session to gain insight into next-generation cutting-edge technologies.
SKT operated AI experience zones in four areas at its booth: healthcare, mobility, content, and life. The booth showcased its NUGU Dual Agent, NUGU Auto, Supernova, and mobiCARE technology services. Visitors could test drive vehicles equipped with the NUGU AI voice recognition platform and use Supernova's service to convert low-resolution photos to high-resolution ones. Visitors could collect stamps from each area, which could be exchanged for souvenirs.

The "Coffee in Love" and "Barun Chicken" brand booths showcased robot-arm-powered unmanned cafes and restaurants. Visitors could order and purchase coffee and chicken directly, and experience the service robots themselves. Feelgood Innovation's smart coffee vending machines, smart liquor vending machines, and smart multi-function vending machines were also available for hands-on experience. (See photos below.)

CJ Olive Networks introduced a smart logistics automation system, offering solutions that cover everything from consulting and engineering to construction and operation.

The AI & Data Solutions booth also attracts attention. 42Maru, which developed a 'deep semantic QA platform' that identifies users' query intent and derives answers through data analysis, presented examples of application of its answering AI platform and various language intelligence solutions.

KT unveiled an AI kiosk creation tool in collaboration with DeepBrain AI, a voice synthesis company based on conversational AI technology. This technology utilizes AI humans created through deep learning to easily create and interact with videos, offering visitors the opportunity to experience creating their own videos.

TeamViewer, Sweet, Fluor, and Buzzplay provide collaboration tools for project and task management, and have introduced corporate customers to business management methods in the era of digital transformation.

JM Robotics demonstrated its unmanned robotic arm system, which is supplied to rest areas and businesses, at its booth. At the robot booths of Universal Robots, Hands On Technology, and Busan Machinery and Technology High School, active communication took place through manufactured robots.

The Yoon administration announced 110 national tasks, emphasizing the need to consolidate core technological capabilities in AI, data, and cloud computing across the government and the public and private sectors in line with the digital transformation trend, and foster new industries such as the metaverse and digital platforms to achieve a leap forward as a digital economic powerhouse.

To this end, Smart Tech Korea is expected to play a significant role in the transition to a digital economy, as it has advocated for the integration of public and private data and added that it will foster large-scale AI R&D and AI semiconductors.
