Tektronix has launched its new 2 Series MSO oscilloscope, offering users a new scope experience including enhanced portability.

Tektronix announced on the 8th that it had launched its new product, the '2 Series MSO Oscilloscope', simultaneously worldwide.

Tektronix says the 2 Series MSO maintains the same performance as its predecessor while enhancing portability, allowing the oscilloscope to be transported to the desired measurement site. The 2 Series MSO is just 38mm thick, features a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and weighs just 1.8kg.

The '2 Series MSO' is equipped with the same user interface applied to the existing 3, 4, 5, and 6 Series oscilloscopes, so existing Series users can use it easily, and the colored LED ring indicator around the knob intuitively indicates the active source, parameter, or status to be adjusted.

By adding an arbitrary AFG (arbitrary function generator), pattern generator, voltmeter, and frequency counter as the '2 Series MSO' option, one device can be used for various purposes. The optional battery life is up to 8 hours.

Additionally, it comes with basic integrated software tools that will allow for easy debugging in various test environments that require collaboration between engineers.

TekDrive allows you to securely manage measurement files, analyze waveforms shared to the cloud, save them back to the cloud, and request feedback.

Meanwhile, Tektronix offers options to extend the product warranty from one to three or five years, and to celebrate the product launch, it is offering a promotional price for a full product protection service that can be purchased with the oscilloscope.
