SK Telecom is opening a venue to realize the dreams of youth who will lead K-culture through the Metaverse music festival 'Teen Teen Audition' hosted by Dong-Ah University of Broadcasting Arts.

SK Telecom announced that it will host the open audition program 'Teen Teen Audition' at Ifland in collaboration with Dong-Ah Broadcasting Arts University.

The 'Teen Teen Audition' is scheduled to begin on July 15 and run every Friday until this coming December. It is open to current middle and high school students nationwide, with no restrictions on music genre. Registration is open until June 24.

Dong-Ah University of Broadcasting and Arts announced that it will grant a 5% bonus point to participants placing from the winner to fourth place when they apply for admission. Promising newcomers will be provided with management support opportunities, such as new song releases, music video production, and content creation.

SKT and Dong-Ah University of Broadcasting Arts entrust 30% of the judging score to audience evaluation so that general audiences can immerse themselves in watching 'Tintin Audition'. They also added that they would hold various events, such as photo opportunities and initial consonant quizzes, for the audience who came to enjoy 'Tintin Audition'.

Yang Maeng-seok, Head of SKT Metaverse, stated, “I am delighted to be able to provide aspiring K-pop students with the opportunity to fully showcase their talents in the new space called the Metaverse,” adding, “We will continue to evolve the Metaverse into a venue of opportunity where someone’s dreams can be realized.”

Choi Yong-hyuk, President of Dong-Ah University of the Arts, stated, “In any field, the title of ‘first’ comes with both pride and responsibility,” adding, “The ‘Teen Teen Audition,’ prepared in collaboration with SKT, is also the first attempt of its kind at a domestic university, and we will do our utmost to ensure that the youth who will lead K-culture can fully express their dreams and talents.”
