Samsung Electronics has established a platform to expand its software ecosystem and discover talented individuals.

Samsung Electronics announced on the 14th that it is recruiting participants for the 2022 Samsung Electronics Collegiate Programming Cup (SCPC).

The Samsung Electronics College Programming Contest (SCPC) is a programming competition that Samsung Electronics has been hosting since 2015 to expand its software ecosystem and discover talented individuals. This year marks its 8th year.

It is the largest software competition for college students in Korea in terms of both prize money and number of participants.

Any college or graduate student interested in programming can participate regardless of grade or major, and applications can be submitted through the Codeground website (www.codeground.org) from June 14 to July 12.

Following two preliminary rounds in July and August, the final rankings will be determined in the main tournament, which will be held on September 3rd. All events will be conducted online.

The winners of the final competition will receive a total of 100 million won in prize money and preferential employment opportunities at Samsung Electronics.

The 'Samsung Electronics College Programming Contest (SCPC)', in which over 30,000 college students have participated so far, has produced a total of 251 winners.It is contributing to the development of software talent.

Participants can also access a variety of resources, including algorithm techniques, data structures, and contest questions, on Codeground, a real-time algorithm coding site operated by Samsung Electronics.
