Accelerating Digital Twins...Improving Product Productivity and Processes

Innovation in industrial automation is expected through the partnership between NVIDIA and Siemens, leaders in AI computing technology and industrial automation, to implement the industrial metaverse and expand AI-based digital twin technology.

NVIDIA and Siemens announced on the 30th that they are expanding their partnership by connecting the open digital business platform 'Siemens Xcelerator' and the platform for 3D design and collaboration 'NVIDIA Omniverse'.

The Siemens Xcelerator platform enables the convergence of IT and OT by connecting mechanical, electrical, and software domains across products and production processes.

NVIDIA Omniverse is an AI-powered, physically simulated, industrial-scale virtual world engine used by more than 25,000 companies worldwide. An edge automation system that enables live digital twins.

The two companies said the industrial metaverse, built using Siemens' physics-based digital models and NVIDIA's real-time AI, will help businesses make informed decisions.

The addition of Omniverse to the open Siemens Accelerator partner ecosystem will accelerate the use of digital twins to improve productivity and processes across the production and product lifecycle.
