GS Energy and G-Tel Joint Venture Changes Name from G-Connect to GS Connect
Participating in the 'Korea Build Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Industry Exhibition'

GS Connect, which changed its name from G Connect, has expressed its intention to create various services with GS Group affiliates.

GS Connect (CEO Bae Jae-hoon), a company specializing in electric vehicle charging services, will participate in the 'Korea Build Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Industry Exhibition' held at COEX in Seoul from July 28 to 31.

GS Connect is a specialized electric vehicle charging service company launched in 2021 as a joint venture between GS Energy, an energy specialist company, and G-Tel, an ICT infrastructure specialist company. It owns the charging service brand 'G-charger'.

The company has demonstrated remarkable growth by emerging as a key player in the charging service market through 24-hour customer center operation, charging service platform development, and customized installation consulting.

Currently, we operate approximately 13,000 chargers nationwide and offer various services that pursue consumer convenience, such as the industry's lowest single rate plan, free installation of slow chargers, and free A/S during the contract period.

GS Connect will participate in the Korea Build Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Industry Exhibition to demonstrate electric vehicle charging services and introduce various future charging services, and customers who wish to install the service can consult with employees on-site. While providing opportunities, we plan to recruit sales and construction partners nationwide.

GS Connect will deliver various customer voices related to charging services under the theme of “Role of Electric Vehicle Charging Service Providers and Technological Development Trends” at the “Electric Vehicle Charger Industry Conference” held concurrently on Thursday, July 28, the opening day of the exhibition, and announce the development direction of the charging business as an eco-friendly energy industry.

Meanwhile, GS Connect changed its name from 'G Connect' to 'GS Connect' on July 20.

GS plans to use this exhibition to promote its brand in various ways, demonstrating its commitment to increasing customer trust in the electric vehicle charging business through the GS brand and creating various services with GS Group affiliates.
