GS Connect Selected as Subsidy Business Operator for Seoul Electric Bus Fast Charging Station Installation in 2022

GS Connect announced on the 4th that it has been selected as one of five subsidy business operators for "Electric Bus Fast Charging Station Installation Support" led by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
Seoul City continues to select business operators for slow and fast charging station installation support projects to expand the supply of electric vehicles.
For this electric bus fast charging station installation support project, the city plans to install a total of 112 units based on a maximum output of 300㎾ or higher for city buses and 150㎾ or higher for shuttle buses.
Following this, GS Connect has been honored to be selected again as a subsidy business operator, marking six consecutive years of selection as a business operator for Seoul City's electric vehicle slow charger installation and operation support project this year, a subsidy business operator for electric taxi fast chargers, and an implementing organization for the Ministry of Environment's slow charger subsidy project.
GS Connect is a specialized electric vehicle charging service company that has been installing and operating approximately 13,000 chargers nationwide through its charging service brand G-charger since 2017.
It is already providing electric bus charging services through its own investment for some shuttle buses in Seoul and Gyeonggi regions.
Beyond subsidy projects, GS Connect, which is making efforts to supply charging infrastructure free of charge through its own investment, has established itself as a major electric vehicle charging business operator by continuously participating in government and local government policies to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
CEO Bae Jae-hun of GS Connect stated, "We believe that GS Connect's charging service has received high evaluations for its stability and excellence," and added, "Driven by our consecutive selection as a subsidy business operator for Seoul's electric taxis and electric buses, we will contribute to the green mobility transition of public transportation."
Meanwhile, GS Connect aims to operate approximately 50,000 chargers by 2025, and is actively investing in free installation of public chargers to achieve this goal.
