Mouser Electronics (hereafter, Mouser) announced that it will sponsor the Dragon/Penske Autosport Formula E racing team participating in the Seoul E-Prix, which will be held on August 13th and 14th.

Mouser, along with Molex, Kyocera AVX, and TTI, is sponsoring the Dragon/Penske Autosport Formula E team for the 2021-22 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship season.

With this, Mouser and Molex have signed an eighth consecutive sponsorship agreement for Formula E racing, ending this season.

The Formula E series, a purely electric racing series, envisions the future of the motorsports industry and serves as a research and development framework for zero-emissions vehicles. With a maximum output of 250kW and a top speed of 280km/h, the Formula E racing car Gen2 is considered a major advancement in electric vehicle racing technology.

E-Prix refers to the city-to-city circuit of the Formula E Championship, the world's top electric vehicle (EV) racing competition hosted by the International Automobile Federation (FIA).

Unlike Formula One (F1) competitions where machines roar and race on dedicated circuits, E-Free competitions feature low-noise, zero-emission electric vehicles racing through the city centers of major cities around the world, competing for speed and durability.

The 2021-2022 season will feature 15 rounds across nine cities, from the opening event in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, in January to the final event in Seoul. The Seoul E-Prix is effectively the final, marking the season's culmination.
