As it is the highest level of international certification, only verified companies can obtain it after undergoing a rigorous review of 144 detailed items across 14 fields, including information security policy, supplier relationships, and operational security.

This international certification is not limited to a specific service unit but covers the entire company, including management, production, and research facilities for the products manufactured by SK Specialty, signifying that the entire organization has established a high-level security system.

Furthermore, amidst heightened emphasis on the importance of information security in the semiconductor industry—a core national sector—SK Specialty, which counts major semiconductor and display companies among its clients, has secured recognition for its world-class security standards, thereby laying the foundation to solidify the trust of its customers and internal and external stakeholders.

SK Specialty explained that as a result of concentrating company-wide capabilities on establishing a security management system to safely protect key internal information, it was able to obtain ISO 27001 without receiving a non-conformity ruling or submitting a corrective action plan during the audit.
