u-blox (Country Manager Kwang-soo Son), a global leader in location tracking and wireless communication technology and services, is launching the first officially commercialized GNSS correction service in the Korean market.

u-blox announced that it will expand the availability of its PointPerfect GNSS correction service to the Korean market starting September 1, 2022.

This is the first officially commercialized PPP-RTK (Precise Point Positioning, Real-Time Kinematic) high-precision location tracking solution in Korea.

This service is provided through 'Thingstream,' u-blox's IoT service delivery platform, a proven enterprise cloud interface that supports billions of messages.

Point Perfect provides advanced GNSS correction data services designed to enable stable, immediate use of ultra-precise positional accuracy.

This service can drive the rapid increase in demand for high-precision GNSS solutions, including advanced navigation applications such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), autonomous vehicles, service robots, machine automation, and micro-mobility.

In addition, automotive applications that can benefit from the Point Perfect service include autonomous driving (AD) and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), It includes lane-distinguishing navigation, telematics, etc.
