Linde Korea (Chairman Sung Baek-seok) received favorable reviews for its next-generation hydrogen technology at H2 MEET, the largest specialized exhibition for the hydrogen industry in Korea, by showcasing the hydrogen ecosystem in virtual reality (VR) to help visitors understand the technology.

Linde Korea participated in 'H2 MEET,' a global specialized exhibition for the hydrogen industry held at KINTEX in Ilsan from August 31 to September 2, and introduced various utilization solutions for next-generation hydrogen that will lead carbon neutrality in the future energy and industrial sectors.

'H2 MEET (Mobility+Energy+Environment+Technology)' is an event where companies across the entire hydrogen value chain, from production to storage, transportation, and utilization, participate to introduce their technologies and products and build networks.

At this exhibition, Linde enables visitors to directly experience the future of the hydrogen ecosystem through a virtual reality (VR) experience station that recreates every stage of the hydrogen value chain—including production (including refining and liquefaction technologies), storage, transportation, charging, and utilization—in VR exactly like the real world, thereby allowing visitorsIt received a positive response from them.

Linde, which produces hydrogen using various feedstocks and natural resources, introduced production methods based on renewable energy sources such as wind, hydro, solar, and biogas, along with production methods based on fossil feedstocks through natural gas reforming or partial oxidation.

In addition, reflecting the trend where the demand for carbon neutrality is growing more than ever in the energy sector, such as power generation, as well as in basic industries like oil refining, petrochemicals, and steel, essential carbon management for industrial processes and various applicable solutions were shared through videos.

Linde, which uses VR devices to inform users that the produced hydrogen may require additional processing depending on the application, also explained in detail the removal of impurities, carbon capture, compression, and cryogenic liquefaction.

They also promoted that they possess extensive manufacturing technology and always provide optimal solutions tailored to customer requirements.
