Fortinet Korea (CEO Won-Kyun Cho) is raising expectations for reducing the risk of cyber incidents by launching a solution that can detect cyberattacks and limit threat exposure by identifying abnormal network activity through machine learning and next-generation AI deep neural networks.

Fortinet Korea announced on the 14th that it has released a new NDR (network detection and response) solution, 'FortiNDR', which increases the speed of incident detection and threat response through powerful AI and pragmatic analytics.

FortiNDR is AI-powered, delivering superior protection, detection, and response capabilities across the network lifecycle.

FortiNDR detects cyber campaign activity based on sophisticated metrics of normal enterprise network activity, leveraging self-learning AI capabilities, machine learning, and advanced analytics.

Run profiling based on IP/port, protocol/action, attack target, packet size, traffic source location, device type, etc.

This allows companies to identify threats that are well known globally, rather than generally known threat information. Early threat detection is possible by identifying security breaches using malware component information.

Additionally, VSATM, a next-generation AI based on deep neural networks, is applied to analyze the software code used in malicious traffic and determine the extent of its spread, thereby reducing the workload of security personnel.

By deploying dedicated network sensors to analyze threat traffic originating from all devices, we have addressed the limitations of installing Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) agents on all corporate devices (personal, third-party, IoT, or OT devices, etc.) to detect breaches.
