El Corporation (CEO Lim Jun-hwan), a company specializing in 3D printing, is contributing to the spread of 3D printing culture in Korea by launching full-scale sales of used high-performance 3D printers.

El Corporation announced on the 20th that it is selling leading global used 3D printers that have gained worldwide popularity and been verified by consumers through its specialized 3D printing platform, '3Dmoim'.

The high-performance used 3D printers supplied by L Corporation to consumers through the '3D Gathering' platform consist of 3D printers that were previously sold by L Corporation, a company specializing in 3D printers, or used or exhibited in showrooms, and are mainly composed of products that are globally recognized for both their durability and performance.

Among these, leading FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printers such as 'Ultimaker' and 'Lugo' are currently on sale, and El Corporation plans to introduce used products of various types of 3D printers, including SLA (Stereo Lithography Apparatus), in the future.

3D printers are used in various fields worldwide. With the scope of application expanding, usage is increasing in various domestic fields such as medical and defense beyond the production of simple mock-up prototypes; however, many customers still find it difficult to purchase due to the stereotype that the product is specialized and expensive.

El Corporation established a specialized platform for 3D printer users to contribute to this situation. Through this '3D Moim' platform, El Corporation plans to pioneer the used 3D printer market and further popularize 3D printers.

El Corporation explained that it has been strengthening community functions among 3D printer users through its specialized 3D printing platform '3D Moim' and has decided to sell high-quality used equipment at affordable prices for community users and consumers who have been hesitant to purchase high-performance 3D printer equipment due to the burden of costs.

Starting with the sale of these used products, El Corporation plans to go further to form a used market community and activate a venue for sharing various 3D printer information.

In the future, there are also plans for a 'trade-in program' in which existing customers of 3D printers distributed and sold by El Corporation can return their used equipment to El Corporation and purchase new equipment at a discount.

Lim Jun-hwan, CEO of L Corporation, said, “There have been consistent inquiries regarding the sale of used products from among L Corporation’s existing customers. Driven by these requests, we decided to start selling used high-performance 3D printers.” He added, “Starting with the sale of used products on the 3D Moim platform, we will take the lead in revitalizing the domestic 3D printing industry so that consumers can access and use 3D printers more easily.”
