SK Telecom's metaverse platform, E-Friend, is introducing various contents.

SK Telecom announced on the 3rd that it will regularly broadcast original content such as △Metaverse Live plays △Karaoke △Music shows △Musicals △Professor special lectures on the metaverse platform Ifland.

This content is advertised as a metaverse service that can be enjoyed like an OTT, where users and hosts can communicate and enjoy together at a specific time each week.

This content, presented in collaboration with SKT and the Korean Voice Actors Association, will be presented at Ifland every Monday and Tuesday at 7 PM starting October 3rd. Professional voice actors will bring voices and avatar motions to life in the Metaverse, creating a 16-part series.

'Avatar Singing Contest' is a karaoke communication program that accepts applications on a first-come, first-served basis every day. It is held three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and is held three times a day: ‘Housewives’ Singing Contest’ at 10 AM, ‘After-School Singing Contest’ at 5 PM, and ‘Singing Contest on the Way Home from Work’ at 9 PM.

The 'Empathy Healing Concert' is a content where disabled artists who won awards at the Korea Disabled Culture and Arts Awards and the Disabled Youth Arts Festival, held every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 PM, perform traditional Korean music, folk songs, and musical instruments at E-Friend.

'Dimaverse', a content aimed at college students presented in collaboration between SKT and Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts, airs every day at 4 PM with a new segment every week.

In addition, 'Joy Kim's Musical Rookie Restaurant', 'Ham Chun-ho Show', 'DJ Elia Show', and special lectures by famous professors every Sunday evening are provided to E-Friend users.

Yang Maeng-seok, head of SKT Metaverse CO, said, “With this regular content lineup, users will be able to enjoy interactive metaverse content such as metaverse plays, concerts, and special lectures every day at Ifland,” and “At the same time, we will create an environment where various creators independently present various contents and gatherings and a virtuous cycle of contents is created.”
