Siemens Korea (CEO and President Ha-joong Jeong), the Korean subsidiary of Siemens, a global electrical and electronics company, celebrated its 55th anniversary by holding a ceremony and engaging in environmental cleanup activities around Hangang Park, practicing ESG management.

On the 5th, Siemens Korea held a ceremony at its headquarters in D Tower, Gwanghwamun, to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the founding of the Siemens Group and the 55th anniversary of the founding of Siemens Korea.

Siemens Korea first entered the domestic market in the 1950s by participating in post-war reconstruction projects following the Korean War.

Since its establishment in 1967, the company has engaged in various business collaborations with domestic companies based on advanced technology and global experience.

Siemens Korea has grown alongside Korea's industrial and economic development, and is leading the expansion of domestic research and development and manufacturing activities through active investment.

At the commemorative ceremony held on the morning of the 5th, Siemens Korea executives and employees gathered together to look back on the past 55 years, celebrate the 55th anniversary of the company's founding, and share their goals and aspirations for the next 100 years, building a sense of community.

Jeong Ha-joong, CEO and President of Siemens Korea, expressed his gratitude to employees for their efforts and contributions through conversations with them.He expressed his gratitude and said that he would continue to do his best together for the company's sustainable development.

In the afternoon of the same day, the 'ESG Campaign for a Sustainable Future' was held at Yeouido Hangang Park to meaningfully commemorate the 55th anniversary of the company's founding.

To commemorate the company's 55th anniversary, 55 employees participated in a half-day environmental cleanup activity, collecting trash around Hangang Park. Siemens Korea places sustainability at the foundation of all its operations and plans to consistently implement activities to protect the environment from the climate crisis in its daily lives.
