Global PC manufacturer Acer announced on the 7th that it will strengthen its attack on the domestic market by establishing an Acer Korea subsidiary within this year.

Acer recently signed an official domestic customer service partner agreement and an exclusive distribution agreement for the supply of key products with Hansung Co., Ltd. (hereinafter Hansung Computer). Based on Hansung Computer's strong domestic sales capabilities and direct store network, Acer plans to strengthen its penetration of the domestic market by providing a variety of Acer products and highly satisfactory customer service.

Accordingly, the new 1.4kg ultra-lightweight Ultrabook 'Swift X SFX14-51G' was introduced to the domestic market for the first time. The 'Swift X SFX14-51G', which is being introduced as the first product following the signing of a distribution agreement with Hansung Computer, is the latest product in Acer's ultrabook brand Swift series and is the successor model to the 'Swift X SFX14-41G' unveiled last June.

The existing 'Swift X SFX14-41G' was equipped with the trifecta of performance, light weight, and long-lasting battery life, and thanks to the high response from consumers, the second batch sold out and a third round of pre-orders was conducted.

The newly released 'Swift X SFX14-51G' is equipped with Intel's latest CPU, the Alder Lake Intel Core i5-1240P processor, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti graphics card based on NVIDIA's Ampere architecture, providing more powerful CPU performance than the previous model, the 'Swift X SFX14-41G'.

In addition, it features a 35.6cm (14-inch) size, 100% sRGB color reproduction rate, and 300 nits brightness, and adopts an IPS LED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio that is vertically wider than the existing 16:9, providing users with a wide field of view and the best user environment.

An Acer official stated, “Starting with the launch of this new product, we will introduce Acer’s key laptops and monitors, such as ultra-notebooks and gaming laptops, to the domestic market through a solid partnership with Hansung Computer,” adding, “We plan to establish a Korean subsidiary within this year to strengthen our penetration of the domestic market and expand our presence in Korea as a global PC manufacturer.”
