Formlabs Korea (CEO Jin-wook Kim), the domestic branch of Formlabs, Inc., a global leader in the 3D printing field, introduces domestic 3D printing application cases to the world and forms various networks with 3D printing stakeholders worldwide.

Formlabs Korea announced that it plans to present Korean customer case studies at the '2022 Formlabs User Summit,' a global event hosted by the headquarters, for two days from the 26th to the 27th.

The 'Formlabs User Summit' is the largest annual online event hosted by global 3D printing company Formlabs to share use cases of Formlabs 3D printer users and companies around the world, and it is being held for the fifth time this year.

In particular, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the 27th, use cases for Korean customers will be presented in Korean for domestic customers.

Although there have been no instances of 3D printing applications from Korea shared at the 'Formlabs User Summit' until now, various examples of domestic 3D printing have been prepared for the first time this year, and are expected to attract the attention of Formlabs 3D printer users from Korea and around the world.

At the '2022 Formlabs User Summit,' starting with a presentation by Jin-wook Kim, Country Manager of Formlabs Korea, on 'Domestic and International Business Case Studies Using Formlabs 3D Printers,' Min-seo Kim, Team Leader at Formlabs APAC, presented on '3D A presentation will be given on the topic of ‘Differences between SLA and SLS printing technologies: How to choose the right technology’.

Next, as a specific customer case study, Dr. Shin Hyung-kyun, Representative Director of Seoul Jeong Barun Dental Clinic, will present "Treatment using 3D printers without stress in Korea, a digital powerhouse," and Team Leader Jung Sung-joo of FITme will take the stage to present on the topic of "Case Study on the Use of Formlabs Solutions for Manufacturing Patient-Customized Prosthetics."

In addition, various applications of Formlabs 3D printing in various industrial fields will be unveiled to the world, including presentations by Mandro CEO Lee Sang-ho on the topic of "Production of a 3D-printed electronic prosthetic hand for amputees" and CG5 3D character modeler Lee Moon-ju on the topic of "3D printing tips from a character figure modeler."

This '2022 Formlabs User Summit' also holds significance as it marks a major milestone in which Formlabs 3D printer outputs worldwide have reached 100 million this year. Formlabs emphasized the significance that over 100 million diverse prints have been produced using its Formlabs 3D printers, bringing design innovation to major industries and education sectors and spreading groundbreaking 3D printing applications.

To celebrate this, at the '2022 Formlabs User Summit,' Formlabs will also provide discussions on exceptional 3D printing innovations, including original or nature-inspired product designs, surreal props and prosthetics from favorite TV shows, and approaches to additive manufacturing tools, to unite users and enthusiasts and inspire next-generation boundary-breaking innovation.

In addition, a large number of diverse global experts, including aerospace engineers from NASA, biomechanics developers, researchers in the field of personalized medicine, jewelry designers, and engineers, are scheduled to appear to introduce applications of Formlabs 3D printers.
