Easy prototyping using Infineon Sensor Cloud Dashboard

Infineon Technologies (hereinafter Infineon) is stepping up to solve engineers' problems with the Connected Sensor Kit (CSK) for rapid prototyping of connected IoT sensors.

Infineon announced on the 7th that it is providing XENSIV™ CSK to support hardware and software engineers developing IoT devices.

This kit is a new IoT sensor platform for the rapid prototyping and development of customized IoT solutions.

Laurent Remont, Vice President of Infineon Sensor Solutions, stated, “Combining sensors, microcontrollers, and secure connectivity is one of the major challenges for customers,” adding, “CSK combines software and hardware to significantly shorten the time-to-market for IoT products.”

Infineon’s CSK adopts the PSoC™ 6 microcontroller for XENSIV sensors to provide efficient power management and high-level processing performance for use in advanced use cases.

It enables secure connectivity using OPTIGA™ Trust M, and the modular board design is compatible with the Adafruit form factor, allowing battery-powered smart home applicationsIt supports prototyping for various sensor use cases.

In addition, rapid prototyping is facilitated using the Infineon Sensor Cloud Dashboard, a streamlined user interface with the AWS cloud architecture backend, which can be quickly scaled in the development field through a unified multi-device dashboard.

All CSK components provide code samples and libraries from Infineon's software ecosystem, ModusToolbox™.

CSK also provides secure and reliable connectivity with major cloud services, including AWS IoT Core, and allows you to publish, configure, and subscribe to messages on the cloud platform.
