Nordic's nPM1100 power management IC (PMIC) is more efficient for its size than existing PMIC solutions, consuming just 23㎟ of PCB area.

The ultra-small form factor PMIC is an ideal solution for space-constrained applications, including battery charging and handheld power delivery, portable advanced wearable wireless products, and connected medical devices.

Adding battery capacity comes at a physical volume disadvantage, so power efficiency gains are the only way to improve battery life and functionality.

Nordic's new nPM1100 PMIC achieves this by combining tight integration and efficient power conversion in a small form factor, enabling designers to increase battery life or power capacity without increasing the physical size of their electronic components.

The nPM1100 features a high-efficiency dual-mode buck regulator and built-in battery.It is a dedicated PMIC equipped with a rechargeable battery.

This product is designed as a complementary component to Nordic's nRF52® Series and nRF53® Series System-on-Chips (SoCs), ensuring stable power supply and operation while maximizing battery life with high efficiency and low standby current.

The nPM1100 can also be used as a general PMIC device.
