VMware Supports a Smart Cloud Approach

VMware (CEO Raghu Raghuram), a global leader in enterprise software, announced a multi-cloud product line that supports a cloud-smart approach.
VMware held VMware Explore 2022 Europe on the 8th and announced innovations, new products, services, and expanded partnerships to help customers further optimize their multi-cloud journey.
As enterprises embrace multi-cloud, they are accelerating their use of it, despite challenges such as complexity, security concerns, and lack of capabilities.
VMware and its partners are helping these enterprises adopt a "cloud smart" approach that offers flexibility and choice across multiple clouds.
Cloud-smart companies have been strengthening their competitiveness and achieving top performance through multi-cloud operations.
According to a survey commissioned by VMware and conducted by Vanson Bourne, approximately 97% of cloud-smart companies said their multi-cloud approach helped them increase revenue, and approximately 96% said it improved profitability.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers.
