Infineon Technologies (hereafter Infineon) received the CES 2023 Innovation Award for its innovation and design from a panel of industry experts.

Infineon announced on the 13th that it has won CES 2023 Innovation Awards for three products: EXCELON™ F-RAM, XENSIV™ Connected Sensor Kit (CSK), and Smart Alarm System for Smart Home (SAS).

The CES Innovation Awards program, hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), recognizes outstanding design and engineering across 28 consumer technology product categories.

It is particularly significant that three products won innovation awards in this program, which featured a record-breaking 2,100 products.

The three Infineon products that won CES 2023 Innovation Awards are:

Infineon's EXCELON F-RAM is the industry's highest-density F-RAM, delivering speeds of up to 54 MB/s and featuring density, performance, and reliability.

EXCELON is △portableIt is an ideal data logging memory for medical devices, wearables, IoT sensors, industrial, and automotive applications.

Infineon's SAS is a multi-layered security system that uses data from the XENSIV microphone and XENSIV barometric pressure sensor, combined with acoustic event detection technology and sensor fusion algorithms running on the PSoC™ family of MCUs, to provide true intrusion protection and monitoring.

The system runs on the machine learning TinyAI algorithm, which manages acoustic and pressure events in a single sensor fusion architecture.

It combines audio and pressure information to detect smoke, intrusion, and carbon monoxide only when necessary.

Finally, Infineon's XENSIV CSK is a sensor platform for IoT device development that enables design engineers to develop new prototypes using Infineon sensors, such as radar and environmental sensors, and the semiconductors that make up the entire system.

This CSK enables IoT developers to quickly design, develop, and manufacture products.

The kit includes all necessary components: XENSIV BGT60TR13C (60GHz radar), PAS CO2 sensor and DPS368 barometric pressure sensor, PSoC 62 low-power dual-core MCU, low-power Wi-Fi (dual band – 2.4GHz and 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0 combo, and OPTIGA™ Trust M security device, and is supported by Infineon’s ModusToolbox™ software ecosystem.

Meanwhile, CES 2023 will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA from January 5 to 8, 2023.
