Merck Electronics announced plans to showcase technologies and applications to advance digital living at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023.

Merck Electronics announced on the 27th that it will hold several “Tech Talks” with corporate executives, industry experts, and partners over two days starting on the 5th.

Through Tech Talks, Merck will present on topics including: Game Changers: Technologies Shaping the Future of the Gaming Experience; Digital Optics & Metaverse: Hardware Leading the World into New Virtual Worlds; The Right Way to Collaborate on Data: Key Lessons from Various Industries; and Neuromorphic Computing.

On the 7th, Dr. Kai Beckmann, Merck’s board member and CEO of Electronics, will participate as a panelist in “The Metaverse is Here to Stay,” Merck’s first event sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), at the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Dr. Kai Beckmann discussed the expected impact of the metaverse on companies with industry innovation leaders, and Merck Electronics' materials They announced that they plan to explain why it is essential for implementing truly immersive augmented reality and virtual reality hardware.

Last year, Merck announced plans to invest more than 3 billion euros by the end of 2025 to drive innovation and expand production capacity, and plans to leverage growth opportunities driven by AI, big data, IoT, 5G, and other technologies by expanding production capacity and pursuing innovation in new technologies and materials.

In addition, as part of the Level Up program in January 2022, the company announced a new $28 million plant in Phoenix, Arizona, strengthening its ability to capture and grow the gas and chemical delivery systems business in North America.
