Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) supplied by MiR are contributing to improved logistics productivity and ROI for automotive parts suppliers, and expanded supply is expected in the future.

MiR announced on the 5th that it has achieved results such as increasing logistics productivity, strengthening the stability of production processes, and reducing safety risks through the MiR (Mobile Industrial Robots) robots recently supplied to FORVIA, a global leader in the automotive technology industry.

Phobia deployed 14 Mir robots at the Faurecia Clean Mobility plant in Pyšek, Czech Republic, and achieved a Return on Investment (ROI) in two years.

Currently, 14 Mir robots are deployed at this factory located in Pisek.

Among these, seven MiR600 robots, which support heavy duty, are performing the task of bringing empty pallets to the assembly line and then transferring pallets loaded with parts back to the logistics area in the finished product area.

In the second area where the MiR250 robot operates, it performs the role of replenishing parts from the warehouse to the assembly line.

The robots in this factory work 24 hours a day, I am in charge of all three shifts, seven days a week.

MiR Fleet software, used to configure robot missions, enables the optimization of logistics flow between lines using internal scripts. All communication with doors, gates, strapping equipment, and other components is fully automated without the need for human intervention. Next year, Phobia plans to integrate MiR Fleet into its ERP system.

The Mir mobile robot provides customers with complete autonomy by allowing them to easily establish new routes without the additional magnetic tape or other external guides required for using other intralogistic technologies.

Mir robots are smart and can recognize people at the work site to stop or bypass them, and because they can avoid bottlenecks without compromising robot efficiency, they can interact seamlessly with workers.
