Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong visited Samsung Display's Asan Campus on the 7th, toured the QD OLED panel production line, and reviewed the business strategy.

After personally inspecting the display production line, Chairman Lee Jae-yong discussed with key executives the current status of the display market for IT devices, the current status of the automotive display business, and the next-generation display technology development roadmap.

Meanwhile, Samsung Display recorded sales of KRW 34.38 trillion and operating profit of KRW 5.95 trillion last year.

For small and medium-sized displays, demand for smartphones has been declining recently, but demand is expected to rebound with the launch of new products such as the Galaxy 23.

For large displays, QD-OLED sales have been expanding since the second half of last year, and additional demand is expected in the first quarter through the launch of new ultra-large TVs and large monitors.
