ASML announced its commitment to creating a better future for inclusion and sustainability through technology, including its business and ESG performance last year.

ASML Holdings NV (ASML) published its 2022 annual report on the 15th.

The 2022 Annual Report, themed "Small Patterns, Big Impact," includes messages from the CEO, CTO, and CFO on ASML's financial performance, markets, business model, and technology roadmap. It also includes 2022 ESG performance and future implementation plans, highlighting the company's "ESG Sustainability" strategy.

ASML's ESG sustainability strategy, launched in 2021, recognizes and addresses ASML's impact on society.

Peter Wennink, CEO, said, "ASML's ESG sustainability strategy demonstrates our commitment to being a responsible company with a positive impact. While we aim to expand our computing power and minimize waste, energy use, and greenhouse gas emissions, we also strive to play a positive social role for our employees, our supply chain, everyone in our innovation ecosystem, and the communities where we operate. “The only way to achieve this is to live up to our responsibilities and conduct business based on this, focusing on governance integration, stakeholder engagement, and reporting transparency,” he said.

Non-financial information has been prepared in accordance with the Sustainability Reporting Standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and additional reporting standards are disclosed in the 'About the non-financial information' section of the annual report.

ASML plans to file its 2022 annual report under U.S. GAAP and its 2022 annual report under IFRS-EU with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), respectively.
