Tektronix Korea announced on the 26th that it is launching the MDO3000 product targeting the MID-HIGH sector.
The newly released MDO3000 reflects customer needs identified through years of research and can be considered a product designed for measuring RF devices applied to the majority of electronic equipment and for testing other external RF signals.
Michael Flaherty, who gave the presentation, stated that according to recent research, more than 25% of oscilloscope users currently use spectrum analyzers multiple times a week, and that wireless functions are included in 40% of embedded design projects. He also predicted that over the next five years, the application of wireless functions will exceed 40% and reach the 60% range.
The newly announced MDO3000 is a hybrid domain oscilloscope with a total of six measuring instruments integrated into a single product. It is said that through the efficiency of engineers' workspace and the organic integration of actual measurements, the utility and reliability of measurement data management and development can be increased more easily and quickly.
The most significant advantage highlighted in this product announcement is the RF spectrum analyzing technology of the MDO3000. Unlike conventional 2D spectrum analyzing, it enables measurements closer to 3D spectrum analyzing through screen splitting. Additionally, a major advantage is that users can set measurement points, allowing for visual verification of areas outside the measurement range. Regarding this technology, Lee Ki-eung, Director at Tektronix Korea, stated that Tektronix was able to realize this based on its long-standing technological know-how as a leading oscilloscope technology company.
