MiR (Mobile Industrial Robots), a leading company in the global autonomous mobile robot (AMR) market, has launched cloud-based software for tracking and analyzing robot movements and improving performance.

Mir announced on the 21st that it has recently launched MiR Insights, a new cloud application that provides robot operators with accurate and actionable insights about their robots.

Mir Insight supports more effective problem solving, including improved performance, increased robot uptime, and improved ROI.

Mir Insight, a new cloud-based software tool, monitors KPIs such as mileage, completed tasks, and robot utilization through a data dashboard.

Heatmaps also track robot activity over time and physical location, visualizing areas with poor Wi-Fi coverage and potential robot traffic bottlenecks.

Mir Insight is hosted on Microsoft Azure and can be used in conjunction with MiR Fleet, Mir's robot management software.

Mir Insight is designed to not interfere with robot operations while reading data from the Mir Fleet, and cannot control individual robots or adjust settings for the entire fleet.

Built-in interfaceFace offers a variety of options for data visualization, and also has the option to retrieve raw data via API so that customers can use it in external systems.

Additionally, Mir is currently working on expanding its functionality to provide users with more options to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

Mir will showcase a demonstration of Mir Insight at ProMat 2023, the international logistics trade show held in Chicago from March 20th to 23rd. Mir customers will be able to benefit from Mir Insight starting in the second quarter of 2023.
